2 years agoThe New York Yankees are getting interest in outfielder Joey Gallo, according to sources, and it would be something of a surprise if he wasn't traded by Tuesday's 6:00 pm ET deadline. Gallo has really struggled in his second year in the Bronx, so interested teams may be able to land him for pennies on the dollar. The 28-year-old left-handed slugger has cratered to the tune of a .159/.282/.339 slash line, 12 home runs, 24 RBI, 32 runs scored and two stolen bases in 273 plate appearances over 82 games.
