Freddy Peralta To Start Wednesday
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (lat) will come off the injured list and make the start on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. It's a big reinforcement for the Brewers rotation in the second half of the season. Peralta was 3-2 with a 4.42 ERA (2.11 FIP), a 1.19 WHIP and a 50:13 K:BB in 38 2/3 innings over eight starts before landing on the injured list. The 26-year-old right-hander only threw 52 pitches in his final minor league rehab start last Friday, though, so there's a good chance he'll be on a short leash in his return against Pittsburgh. Peralta may not be a slam-dunk fantasy option in his return on Wednesday, but he needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats in the second half of the season.
