Amari Cooper Dealing With Ankle Injury
2 years agoCleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Amari Cooper (ankle) will not practice on Tuesday but he'll be back on the practice field soon at training camp. Cooper tweaked his ankle in practice on Monday. It doesn't sound like the 28-year-old's injury is very serious, so fantasy managers shouldn't have any concerns about drafting him. However, the Browns wideouts are extremely banged up in training camp, with David Bell (foot) and Anthony Schwartz (knee) also sidelined. Cooper will be the team's unquestioned No. 1 wideout in his first year in Cleveland, and although quarterback Deshaun Watson is suspended for the first six games of the season, Cooper will be a low-end WR2 in fantasy drafts this fall.
