2 years agoCleveland Guardians rookie outfielder Oscar Gonzalez (intercostal) has been activated from the 10-day injured list and is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday against Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Zac Gallen, starting in right field and batting seventh in the batting order. Gonzalez will be making his return after getting injured in June, and he'll return to a solid .285/.315/.431 slash line with two home runs, 14 RBI and 12 runs scored in his first 123 major league at-bats. The 24-year-old Dominican should be a lineup regular for Cleveland. In a corresponding move, the Guardians are expected to designate the struggling Franmil Reyes for assignment.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
