2 years agoThe San Francisco Giants are acquiring J.D. Davis and prospects from the New York Mets in exchange for veteran first baseman/outfielder Darin Ruf, according to Andy Martino of SNY. Davis has been relegated to mainly serving as the Mets' DH this season, slashing just .238/.324/.359 with four homers, a 9.7 BB%, and a woeful 31.4 K%. He might see a slight uptick in usage with the Giants, but he still doesn't produce enough to justify rostering him in fantasy leagues.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
