2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery has been traded to the St. Louis Cardinals. In exchange, the Yankees will receive right-handed outfielder Harrison Bader for Monty. This is one of those rare trades that helps both contending organizations right now. Montgomery holds a 3.69 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 97 strikeouts through 21 starts. The lefty starter should be a nice addition to the Cardinals rotation. He won't be an ace, but his fantasy value should stay strong pitching in St. Louis.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
