Noah Syndergaard Heads To Philly
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard has been traded to the Philadelphia Phillies. The Angels will receive outfielders Mickey Moniak and Jadiel Sanchez in exchange for Syndergaard. The 29-year-old right-hander has a 3.83 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 64/22 K/BB ratio through 15 starts. This is a good move for the Phillies as they bolster their starting rotation. The Phillies now have Aaron Nola, Zack Wheeler, and Syndergaard on their staff as they attempt to make a playoff run. The Angels will get Moniak who is a former first round pick. He has struggled during his time in the majors, but maybe a change of scenery can help him. Fantasy managers might see Syndergaard's value take a slight hit with the move to Philly. It's a hitter-friendly park, but he has pitched well this season, so continue to trust him.
