2 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Kevin Gausman had an excellent bounce-back start in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Rays. Gausman pitched 8 shutout innings, allowing one hit and one walk with 10 strikeouts. This was an encouraging sign for fantasy managers, as Gausman had not pitched well overall coming back from the All-Star break. Despite his recent scuffles, the 31-year-old still has an 8-8 record with a 3.06 ERA and 10.64 K/9 rate through 20 starts this season.
