Travis d'Arnaud Out With Stomach Bug
2 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud (illness) is out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Phillies due to a stomach bug. d'Arnaud was also out of the lineup on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should consider the 33-year-old backstop as day-to-day for now. He's been serviceable with the bat given the weak state of the catching position in fantasy, slashing .251/.299/.433 with 11 home runs, 40 RBI and 38 runs scored in 263 at-bats. William Contreras will be behind the dish again on Wednesday and is hitting seventh against Phillies right-hander Zack Wheeler. Contreras, an All-Star for the first time this year, is a fine replacement and is hitting .259/.345/.534 with an .880 OPS, 13 home runs, 26 RBI, 27 runs scored and two stolen bases in 174 at-bats.
