2 years agoThe Detroit Tigers placed left-hander Tarik Skubal (forearm) on the 15-day injured list on Wednesday with left arm fatigue. He's dealing with inflammation in his forearm area. In corresponding moves, the Tigers reinstated right-hander Wily Peralta from the 15-day injured list, optioned infielder Zack Short to Triple-A Toledo and recalled outfielder Daz Cameron from Toledo. Skubal was hoping to make his next start after leaving his previous outing with arm fatigue, but that will not happen. Hopefully, he won't need a lengthy stint on the IL, as he has been useful in all fantasy leagues this year. The 25-year-old southpaw has gone 7-8 with a 3.52 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP and a 117:32 K:BB in 117 2/3 innings over 21 starts in just his third major league season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
