Fernando Tatis Jr. Faces Live Pitching On Wednesday
2 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (wrist) faced live pitching again on Wednesday. The superstar slugger took roughly six at-bats during his batting practice session. The next step should be Tatis heading out on a minor league rehab assignment. He has been sidelined all season long after having wrist surgery. It's uncertain how many games he'll need to play before getting back to the MLB roster. In the meantime, newly acquired Juan Soto and Josh Bell will attempt to hold down the fort. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Tatis as he nears a return.
