2 years agoKansas City Chiefs rookie running back Isiah Pacheco has been classified as a "player to watch" by senior NFL reporter Albert Breer. The speedy RB has been "lighting up" training camp and has Kareem Hunt traits, but with a gear Hunt didn't have. After spending four years at Rutgers, the 23-year-old was selected in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft. He compiled 2,442 yards and 18 touchdowns off 563 carries during that time. Assuming he makes the active roster, he's expected to spend some time with the special teams unit this year. It's obvious he can handle a heavy workload based on his collegiate career. With Clyde Edwards-Helaire also known for his inability to remain healthy, there's a chance Pacheco could surpass Ronald Jones, Jerick McKinnon and Derrick Gore on the depth chart and receive some meaningful touches out of the backfield this season. But for now, he's just a "player to watch."--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
