2 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (appendix) was back in the team's locker room at training camp on Thursday and seemed to be walking OK across the locker room. Burrow had surgery last Tuesday to remove his appendix, and head coach Zac Taylor said at the time that there was no timetable on Burrow's return. It's good news that the 25-year-old is back with the Bengals, but it doesn't mean he'll return to practice right away, and he could be eased back into drills when he's ready. Brandon Allen has been handling most of the first-team repetitions. Burrow will probably be held out of the first preseason game as well, but he should be all systems go for the regular season. With some of the best receivers in the league at his disposal, Burrow will be a strong QB1 selection going into his third year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
