2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers linebacker Kenneth Murray (ankle) remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list after having offseason ankle surgery, but there's a chance he'll return to practices before the end of training camp. "I'm hoping it's some point during camp. We're not close yet, but he is improving, and he's getting more and more confident. Our goal for him was just to be here at some point during camp, and I think that goal is achievable," head coach Brandon Staley said when asked how close Murray is to returning. The 23-year-old missed five weeks in 2021, and the Chargers aren't rushing him back. If he returns during training camp, he'll have a chance to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season.
