2 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Joc Pederson (concussion) will return from the seven-day injured list on Saturday, with infielder Thairo Estrada (concussion) likely returning a day later on Sunday. Pederson has been out of action since July 29, but he should return to San Francisco's starting lineup on Saturday against the Oakland Athletics. The 30-year-old left-handed slugger was named to his second All-Star team in 2022 and is currently hitting .242/.319/.492 with an .811 OPS, 17 home runs, 43 RBI, 36 runs scored and three stolen bases in 285 plate appearances and 87 games. Pederson was rumored to be a trade candidate at the deadline earlier this week, but he ended up staying with the Giants.
