2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (knee) is practicing on Friday for the first time since he had surgery for a torn ACL. He is practicing with a brace on his surgically repaired right knee. It was big news when Godwin didn't begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, and now he's back at practice after sitting out a few practices. There is hope that the 26-year-old can be ready for the Week 1 season opener, which would be bad news for Russell Gage and veteran Julio Jones. It doesn't mean that Godwin will be lights-out early in the season, but the fact that he's already back at practice this summer should make fantasy managers more comfortable taking him as a WR2 in their upcoming drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
