Clayton Kershaw's MRI Yields Best-Case Scenario
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers skipper Dave Roberts said that left-hander Clayton Kershaw's (back) MRI exam didn't reveal anything new with his back and called it the "best-case scenario." Kershaw will rest and rehab after he was placed on the injured list on Friday. The future Hall of Famer was pulled from his outing early on Thursday against the San Francisco Giants due to lower back pain. Fantasy managers were likely very concerned at first, given his recent history with back issues, but it looks like this one might not be too significant. However, the Dodgers are unlikely to rush him back, as they'll want him fully healthy down the stretch and for the postseason. But barring any setbacks, Kershaw should pitch again before the regular season is over.
