2 years agoLos Angeles Angels relief pitcher Mike Mayers has had his contract selected from Triple-A Salt Lake and will join the team's 40-man roster. The 30-year-old righty was outrighted to the minors back in early June but has now made his way back to the majors. He posted a poor 5.40 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and 14:6 K/BB ratio over 16 2/3 innings (15 appearances) earlier this season. He'll add some depth to the Los Angeles bullpen but doesn't offer a whole lot of fantasy value.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
