Darius Slayton Works With Third-Team Offense
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton was working with the third-team offense in training camp practice on Friday. Rookie Wan'Dale Robinson, Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney worked with the first team, while Richie James, Collin Johnson and C.J. Board worked with the second team. Slayton worked with Keelan Doss, Austin Proehl and Alex Bachman. It continues to look like it will be an uphill battle for Slayton, a fourth-year pro, to make the final roster out of training camp. It's especially disappointing since Sterling Shepard (Achilles) still isn't practicing with the team. Slayton, who caught a career-low 26 passes (58 targets) for 339 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games (five starts) last year, is well off the fantasy radar for obvious reasons.
