Jack Flaherty To Start Rehab Assignment On Wednesday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) is set to begin a minor league rehab assignment on Wednesday. The hope is that Flaherty can throw around 30-35 pitches during his rehab debut. The 26-year-old has thrown a total of eight innings this season across three starts. He continues to deal with a lingering shoulder issue, but it sounds like he is finally making progress. Hopefully, Flaherty can make an impact for the Cardinals down the stretch of the season. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect much from Flaherty from a fantasy standpoint. It sounds like Flaherty is just beginning his rehab process, so he won't be ready to pitch in St. Louis for at least a few weeks.
