Orlando Arcia Sustains Left Hamstring Strain Tuesday
2 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Orlando Arcia (hamstring) strained his left hamstring in Tuesday's extra-inning 9-7 win over the Red Sox. Arcia went 1-for-4 with an RBI double and a walk. The double came in the 10th inning but resulted in the injury. The 28-year-old will be placed on the injured list, per Braves beat writer Justin Toscano. Arcia has done a decent job in a bench role this season, slashing .243/.321/.405 with seven home runs and 26 RBI. That being said, this news has little fantasy implication, as Arcia is currently rostered in just two percent of leagues.
