2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (head) was scheduled to make a start on Friday, but that won't happen now. The 28-year-old has been placed on the 7-day concussion list, retroactive August 8. Fried hit his head on the ground while attempting to make a play during Saturday's contest. The left-hander is eligible to come off the injured list on August 15. The hope is that he'll only miss one start, but fantasy managers will have to wait and see. In the meantime, right-hander Jake Odorizzi will make the start against the Miami Marlins on Friday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
