2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals third base prospect Jordan Walker went 4-for-5 with a run scored on Friday for Double-A Springfield. Walker's name was floated around in Juan Soto trade rumors, but he remains in the Cardinals organization. The 20-year-old has really impressed as a prospect and has taken another big step forward in 2022 with a .309 batting average to go along with 13 homers, 49 RBI and 16 stolen bases. Although the speed is a bit of a surprise, the power isn't and Walker has the makings of a future slugger at the big-league level. His biggest issue is that he's blocked by Nolan Arenado at the big-league level, but the Cardinals always find a way to get their best players on the field and Walker should eventually find his way to the show, possibly as soon as 2023. For now, Walker holds zero redraft value, but should be highly regarded in dynasty leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
