Dallas Goedert Finds The End Zone In Preseason Opener
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught his lone target for a 22-yard touchdown from quarterback Jalen Hurts during the opening drive of last night's 24-21 loss against the New York Jets. Hurts had a 12-yard rushing touchdown called back due to a holding penalty the play prior. The fifth-year tight end made a nice catch and broke a tackle on his way to the end zone. With A.J. Brown in Philadelphia, Goedert is no longer the top red zone target for Hurts, but Brown's presence could make his life easier in terms of coverage when in scoring range. Goedert will need to continue to find the end zone to outproduce his eighth-round draft price for fantasy managers.
