2 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe had a solid day Sunday, going 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles, a walk, an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. It was Lowe's second swiped bag of the season. Lowe now has a five-game hitting streak, and a robust .383/.463/.532 slash line in 53 August plate appearances. He's often been eyed as a potential major fantasy contributor, and perhaps he'll be able to lift his solid .801 OPS even higher by the end of the year. He's hit 16 home runs, scored 51 runs, and driven in 49 more in 411 at-bats this year.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
