2 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays reinstated right-handed pitcher Ross Stripling (hip) from the 15-day injured list on Wednesday. Right-handed reliever Trent Thornton was optioned to Triple-A to make room on the active roster. Stripling is set to start Toronto's game on Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles. The 32-year-old has made 23 appearances for the Blue Jays this season, 15 of which have been starts. He's pitched to a 3.16 ERA, a 3.02 FIP, and 67 strikeouts in 82.2 innings while allowing just 15 walks and six home runs.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
