Jordan Lawlar Continues To Show Talent In High-A
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop prospect Jordan Lawlar went 1-for-4 with a walk and two stolen bases on Thursday for High-A Hillsboro. One of Lawlar's stolen bases was of home and that shows a glimpse of his high IQ on the basepaths. The sixth overall pick in 2021, Lawler has shown the ability to be a five-tool prospect and the numbers have backed him up thus far. Despite missing most of last season with a shoulder injury and some time this season, Lawlar's talent in undeniable. He was recognized this season as part of the National League All-Star for the Futures Game and has hit .324 with 11 homers, 50 RBI and 36 stolen bases across Rookie Ball, Single-A and High-A this season. Although he is projected to be big-league ready by 2024, dynasty managers would be wise to consider rostering the ultra-talented 20-year-old that has the potential to help across the board for years to come.
