Tyler Mahle Likely To Have Next Start Skipped Or Pushed Back
2 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Tyler Mahle (shoulder) is likely to have his next start skipped or pushed back. Mahle was shut down from throwing after experiencing soreness in his right shoulder during his last start, which came on Wednesday. The 27-year-old told reporters on Friday that he feels good, but the Twins will understandably be cautious with their recent trade deadline acquisition. Mahle has made 22 starts in 2022, posting a 6-7 record, 4.17 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 126 strikeouts in 118 2/3 innings of work.
