Austin Riley Hits Three-Run Shot
2 years agoAtlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley hit his 31st home run of the year Friday night, a three-run shot off Houston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. as part of a 2-for-4 day at the plate. Riley hadn't homered since August 9. It's been a tough August for the slugger, relatively speaking, as he's slashed .239/.341/.394 for the month. On the season, he has a .929 OPS with 70 runs scored, 78 RBI, and two stolen bases in 467 at-bats. Fantasy managers can be sure Riley's production will surge once again.
