Josiah Deguara Targeted Twice Against New Orleans
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Josiah Deguara caught one of his two targets for 11 yards during their 20-10 win over the Saints on Friday. Deguara began the game with the starters and was targeted once on each of the Packer's first two drives. The final line is not particularly impressive but he still appears to be the leading candidate to be their starter until Robert Tonyan (knee) is healthy. Tonyan was recently activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list, which signals progress but does guarantee he'll be on the field for Week 1. Deguara is familiar with the system and could be involved early in the year until Tonyan reaches full health, making him a potential streamer who will go undrafted in most leagues.
