2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina was placed on the restricted list Saturday. According to Katie Woo of The Athletic, he is handling personal matters in Puerto Rico but is expected to return Monday against the Chicago Cubs. The 40-year-old has collected a hit in eight of his last 12 games. He is slashing .222/.243/.283 with two home runs, 12 RBI, 12 runs, and a stolen base over 54 games in 2022. Molina is mainly an option in two-catcher formats. Ivan Herrera was recalled from Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
