2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez (illness) could be back in the lineup Sunday as the team's primary designated hitter against the Atlanta Braves. He was following a concussion-like protocol and was held out from Saturday's game as a precaution. The 25-year-old's tests came back normal after abruptly leaving the field with Atlanta up to bat during the fifth inning of Friday's contest. Alvarez is slashing .295/.400/.612 with 31 homers, 77 RBI, 76 runs, and a stolen base over 103 games in 2022.
