Salvon Ahmed Rushes Five Times Saturday
2 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed rushed five times for 20 yards during Saturday's preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He also saw one target but turned it into a catch for negative three yards. All of Ahmed's snaps came with the second-team offense, which included quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. However, the term "second-team offense" doesn't reflect the fact that Miami used both Chase Edmonds and Sony Michel in its first-team offense, meaning Ahmed was technically the No. 3 on Saturday. He'll likely drop down another rung when Raheem Mostert (resting veteran) returns to the mix, and Ahmed could be forced off the roster by Myles Gaskin, too. All told, Ahmed should be avoided in most formats.
