Drew Lock Returns To Practice
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock (illness) entered health and safety protocols on Tuesday after contracting COVID-19. This caused him to miss Thursday's preseason game against the Bears, which he was initially scheduled to start. The 25-year-old was reported as feeling "really sick" on Friday, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Fortunately, he returned to practice on Sunday. The former Bronco figures to get the nod against the Cowboys as long as his health permits him to play. Lock is battling teammate Geno Smith to lead this offense come Week 1, so any additional reps and game action would be beneficial. Nonetheless, even if he earns the starting job, he's still not a quarterback to target outside of Superflex and two-quarterback leagues. Still, even in those formats, he's a risky fantasy option.
