Deon Cain Leads Eagles With 66 Receiving Yards
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Deon Cain finished with five receptions on seven targets for 66 yards during Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith were inactive, while slot receiver Quez Watkins recorded only two targets with minimal usage. The Eagles were giving their backup receivers reps, with Gardner Minshew starting under center. Cain shined the brightest of the bunch. The former sixth-round pick has an outside shot at making the final roster if he can continue to produce late in next week's game against the Miami Dolphins. With Jalen Reagor struggling in the contest and rumors of him surfacing on the roster bubble, Cain took a step in the right direction to make the team. The former Clemson alum has little to no fantasy value for redraft but could be a name to monitor in dynasty leagues if injuries occur.
