Sandy Alcantara Endures Rare Rough Start
2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara endured a rare bad start on Sunday, allowing six runs on 10 hits and one walk to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 3 2/3 innings. He struck out five batters and took his sixth loss of the season. Alcantara is a frontrunner for the National League Cy Young Award with a 2.19 ERA and 0.98 WHIP this season, so fantasy managers can hardly fault the right-hander for this bump in the road. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, expected to come against the Dodgers once again at home in Miami.
