Josh Bell Hits Two-Run Shot
2 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Josh Bell carried the team to victory Sunday, providing all the offense in a 2-1 win over the Washington Nationals with a two-run home run. Bell went 1-for-4 against his old team to give him round-trippers in back-to-back games. Fantasy managers will hope this is a return to earlier success for Bell, who has slashed .138/.263/.262 with just five RBI over his last 30 games. For the season, Bell is enjoying a strong campaign with an .825 OPS, 16 homers, 64 runs scored, and 62 RBI in 513 plate appearances.
