2 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Sean Manaea earned his seventh win of the season Sunday, throwing seven strong innings against the Washington Nationals. He allowed one run on five hits and no walks with four strikeouts. This is Manaea's first quality start in four August trips to the mound. Fantasy managers will be glad for the good outing after the left-hander has underwhelmed this year to the tune of a 4.64 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 132 strikeouts in 130 innings. He'll look to keep this up in his next outing, expected to come next week against the Kansas City Royals.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
