2 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (groin) was back on the practice field Monday after sitting out Saturday's preseason win over Washington. The Chiefs have played it slow with ramping Hardman up, although his presence at practice is a solid indication he could be on the field Thursday against the Packers in the team's preseason finale. With the departure of Tyreek Hill, Hardman is in line to play a much larger part of Kansas City's vertical attack this season; the 24-year-old has amassed at least 500 yards in each of his first three seasons and has seen his receptions total climb steadily. Hardman currently sits on the fence as a WR3/FLEX option in many traditional fantasy formats, but his presence in the Chiefs' offense with Patrick Mahomes under center stands to give him a solid boost.--Jesse Borek
