Joe Ryan Turns In Solid Start Sunday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Joe Ryan gave up a pair of runs along with two hits in 6 1/3 innings in his most recent outing against the Texas Rangers on Sunday. The right-hander also surrendered three walks and a home run against Texas but struck out six batters in an otherwise solid outing. He logged 14 swinging strikes on 88 pitches and finished with a 27% CSW rate. Overall, Ryan's four-seam fastball had eight swinging strikes, while his slider and changeup each registered three. For the season, the 26-year-old owns a 3.86 ERA, a 4.29 FIP, 105 strikeouts and 31 walks in 107 1/3 innings.
