Justin Turner Absent From Tuesday's Lineup

After collecting a hit in four straight games, he will get the day off Tuesday. The 37-year-old is slashing .258/.330/.401 with nine home runs, 62 RBI, 45 runs and three stolen bases over 406 plate appearances in 96 games in 2022. Max Muncy is starting at third base, while Trayce Thompson is batting ninth as the team's designated hitter for Tuesday's contest. Turner's next chance to return to the lineup will be Wednesday against the Brewers.
