2 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts are reportedly signing punter Matt Haack to a deal, per multiple reports. The move comes in the wake of Rigoberto Sanchez (Achilles) sustaining a season-ending injury Tuesday, creating a void at a vital position for the Colts. Haack was recently released by Buffalo, with Matt Ariaza winning the Bills' punter job. The 28-year-old Haack has served as a primary punter for the past five seasons, four of which came with Miami. Over that span, the undrafted free agent from Arizona State has averaged 44.4 yards per boot. Indianapolis will open the regular season on Sept. 11 against Houston.--Jesse Borek
