2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitcher David Robertson allowed a walk while striking out one over a scoreless inning to earn the save during Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds. He entered Wednesday's contest in the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead. The 37-year-old needed 19 pitches to secure his 18th save of the season. He has now recorded a save in two of his last three appearances. The veteran right-hander owns a 2.16 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and a 63:23 K: BB across 50 innings in 2022. Robertson is the Phillies' primary closer, while Seranthony Dominguez (triceps) is on the injured list and should continue to see the bulk of Philadelphia's save opportunities.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
