2 years agoToronto Blue Jays pitcher Jordan Romano allowed one walk while striking out one across a scoreless inning to earn the save during Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Boston Red Sox. He entered the game in the top of the 10th inning to protect a one-run lead. The 29-year-old tossed a scoreless frame to notch his 27th save of the season. He is 27-for-31 in save chances with a 2.35 ERA and 1.02 WHIP across 46 innings in 2022. Romano is entrenched as Toronto's primary closer and continues to be one of the most reliable closers in baseball this season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
