Tyler Goodson Gets The Start In Preseason Loss
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Tyler Goodson carried the ball seven times for 28 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's preseason loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He added five receptions for 26 yards. The undrafted rookie out of Iowa broke free for a 24-yard touchdown run, scoring the Packers' only touchdown of the night. With Kylin Hill battling a knee injury, Goodson has been competing with teammate Patrick Taylor for the No. 3 role. It was a good performance to cap off the preseason, and we should know who has won the job between the two in the coming days. If Goodson wins the role, he will only be a name to monitor if an injury occurs to either Aaron Jones or AJ Dillon, and even then, he may not carry any fantasy relevance unless both go down.
