Salvon Ahmed Breaks Off 28-Yard Reception Saturday
2 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed rushed four times for 30 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles during Saturday's preseason finale. He also hauled in one of two targets for an additional 28 through the air. When all was said and done, he had totaled five touches and 58 scrimmage yards, capping off a solid performance as he competes for a roster spot. With Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert presumably locks to make the team, Miami will need to make one cut (or perhaps two) among Ahmed, Myles Gaskin, and Sony Michel. Even if he secures a roster spot, Ahmed doesn't have a clear path to fantasy relevance.
