Cameron Brate Catches Two Passes In Preseason Finale
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate caught both his targets for 10 yards in Saturday's 27-10 preseason loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Tampa Bay played Kyle Rudolph and Brate for the first time this preseason. The 31-year-old out-snapped Rudolph eight to three and had two more routes run in Friday's loss. He is competing with rookie Cade Otton and Rudolph to be quarterback Tom Brady's top pass-catching tight end. Brate saw most of the snaps and is familiar with Tampa Bay's offense, making him the front runner to be the Bucs' starting tight end in 2022. Fantasy managers can take a shot on Brate in a tight-end premium or deep-league formats in upcoming drafts.
