Kadarius Toney Doesn't Play During Preseason Finale
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (knee/hamstring) sat out during their preseason finale on Sunday. Surprisingly, Toney dressed and warmed up, but didn't see the field at all. Head coach Brian Daboll mentioned that Toney wasn't ready to play, which makes it tough to know his status going into cut day. Last season, Toney finished with 39 receptions, 420 receiving yards, and zero touchdowns in 10 games. He does have potential, but he's a shaky option heading into the regular season. Fantasy managers in standard 12-team formats are going to have a tough time justifying starting Toney in Week 1. At this point, he's more of a stash than a real threat on the field.
