Lynn Bowden Jr. Let Go By Dolphins
2 years agoThe Miami Dolphins released wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr. on Tuesday, according to a source. Bowden has plenty of versatility as a running back, slot receiver and kick returner, but the Dolphins just didn't have room for him after adding Tyreek Hill and Cedrick Wilson Jr. in the offseason. The 24-year-old will surely latch on with another organization as a special teams asset, at the very least. The former third-rounder in 2020 didn't see the field at all last season, but he caught 28 of 37 targets for 211 yards and no touchdowns in 10 games (four starts) for the Dolphins in his rookie season after being acquired from the Las Vegas Raiders.
