2 years agoThe Oakland Athletics are reportedly set to call up pitching prospect Ken Waldichuk when rosters expand on Sept. 1, according to a tweet from Matt Kawahara of The San Francisco Chronicle on Tuesday. The former fifth-round pick has pitched at Double-A and Triple-A this season, posting a 2.84 ERA and 137 strikeouts while giving up 36 walks in 21 starts spanning 95 innings. He'll give Oakland another starting option down the stretch alongside Cole Irvin, James Kaprielian, Adam Oller, and JP Sears.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
